Boot Camp
We are looking for MULTIPLE people to bring onto the team for a 6-month onboarding bootcamp to learn the basics of Circuit and Event photography.
RGBTV has upcoming dance and professional-level events in the second half of 2024 during which there will be the opportunity to shoot with the team using team equipment to learn what we shoot and how. Our team is looking to build out our long-term roster with artists who want to do à la carte gig work with photo and video. We expect to use the summer to communicate skills and expectations and in-person events to train Boot Camp participants.

What's Going On?
Our current output and target expectation for participants should be in line with the following events:
What we’re offering: Shooting - how to translate passion for dance into marketable photography skills Videography - the dos and don’ts for setting up front row Data management - how to handle a mountain of data each weekend Client engagement - how to interface with clients and resolve differences in expectations
What we’re looking for: People with entry-level experience shooting (less than 2 years) High passion for the community and dance Willingness to learn and execute new methods of shooting
What we expect: 3 weekends of the 2024/2025 DDN/ASA competitive season Willingness to travel self out to events (travel subsidy may be available for select events, but should not be assumed) Access to a body and lens camera system (ownership, library rental, or other means to familiarize self with menus and technique) Equipment will be provided for you for the scheduled DDN/ASA events Willingness to work with other learners Detailed review of past Circuit media for training
What to expect: High energy weekends with high-volume learning Finish the program with a capacity to do local events solo and deliver final product to clients Capacity to fulfill unsupervised shooting for RGBTV-contracted events Continued opportunities for contract work through RGBTV upon successful completion of the Program
